Shops and Restaurants

Montasola is a small community but it has a pharmacy, restaurant, bar and post office. The local park has a bar and a kids' playground, and is the location for different village festivals through the summer. The nearest shop is a few minutes’ drive away and is well equipped for daily needs. There are several supermarkets within a short drive.

Sabina is famous for its olive oil, and oil can be bought on tap from a small shop not far from the house. There is also plenty of good Italian wine available in the shops and restaurants, and wine producing areas are not too far away.

For many people part of the enjoyment of a holiday in Italy is eating out, and sampling both the local and wider Italian cuisine. There is a restaurant within easy walking distance of Casa Dolce Aria which produces a good range of traditional Italian dishes, and also provides a take-away pizza service.

Information on the many restaurants in the area, on the shopping centres and markets, and on sights to visit is provided in a guests' information pack in the casa.
